Regulatory Affairs

The chemical industry is one of the most regulated industries in the world.

Taking a look at the usage of chemical raw materials, while taking into consideration which products are made out of chemicals, the amount of regulations to apply to these increases even more.
Being one of Europe’s leading distributors of raw material specialities and a solution provider, supplying various industries from car manufacturers over the aviation industry to consumer products, we are highly affected by all sorts of international regulations, directives as well as national and local laws.

REACH, CLP and BPR are only the tip of the iceberg of regulations we need to comply with, in order to ensure a safe supply of raw material specialities across Europe, Switzerland and Turkey. To take care of this task, we founded our own Regulatory Affairs Department.
As such, we are present in various networks of the chemical regulatory industry, are a member of the Association of German Chemical Distributors and take part in various discussions on the European level concerning topics such as the registration, classification and of course distribution of chemicals across Europe.
As we are a part of the chemical industry, we take our responsibility that comes with it seriously. Therefore, we integrated the Responsible Care Program of the European Chemical Industry into our company, pushing ourselves every year to achieve even more sustainable goals and having a positive impact on our environment.
