Google's Page Experience Update
Google has finally started to roll out its page experience update, and is set to finish rolling it out by the end of August 2021. This is not to be confused with the June 2021 Core Update, or the next Core Update coming July 2021. Likewise, Google has stated to not to expect drastic ranking changes, but here’s a brief timeline of what to expect from the mid-June rollout:
This ranking change will be gradual
The AMP badge is being removed - it’s no longer required for Google News app or news.google.com
A Page Experience badge is being tested
The Top Stories Carousel feature is being updated to include all news content that meets Google News content policies and guidelines.
Note: Google has stated that by the end of August, we can expect the complete rollout of the update. This includes all the Core Update vitals metrics as well.

What We’ve Learned From a Decade of Driving BigCommerce Revenue Growth
Over a decade of BigCommerce experience has taught VELOX that sustainable growth requires technical SEO, strategic paid media, and thoughtful content, together, not in isolation.

What Google Says You Should Do to Optimize for AI Search
Google's new AI search guidance favors human-first, unique content and solid technical SEO, while dismissing tactics like llms.txt, content chunking, and heavy structured data as unnecessary. VELOX still recommends these "unnecessary" tactics as low-cost hedges, since Google's rules don't apply to ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI platforms.
