The fitness brand has created an environment suitable for everyone at their gyms in Bakersfield, Stockton, Sacramento, Brentwood, and other California locations.
Background
In March 2021, In-Shape partnered with us to navigate the transition back to pre-pandemic operations. Amid lingering hesitancy towards group fitness classes, public pools, and racquetball tournaments, we implemented targeted digital marketing strategies to rebuild consumer confidence and drive gym membership growth.

Approach
We focused on driving consistent membership growth while maintaining efficient acquisition costs to support recurring revenue. Alongside ongoing Google Ads optimization and adjusting CPA targets monthly to stay below $40 across locations, we implemented an Organic Search content syndication strategy to expand visibility and attract high-intent prospects. By aligning paid and organic efforts, we captured demand across channels, improved efficiency, and created a more scalable path to member acquisition.
Results
By pairing Google Ads optimization with Organic Search content, we helped In-Shape exceed membership goals while improving efficiency across channels. A 44% drop in cost per click helped drive a 10X ROAS within six months.
The growth was substantial: paid ads revenue increased 3,227% year over year, average monthly conversion value reached $132,800, and 100% of targeted keywords ranked in the top 3. These gains helped attract an average of 16,759 new monthly users and support sustained membership growth.
